Distribution of Green Resources & Social Injustics

In Studio II, our group was aimed to develop context-oriented approaches that frame preservation research within a broader social environment-community. Relying on the ArcGIS technology and the public database, NYC Open Data, the distribution of street trees and open spaces in Harlem were mapped out in the basemap. The visualization of uneven distribution of green resources contributes to the discussion of the social injustics issue.
